মুসলিমরা তাদের ধর্ম, ধর্মের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা ও বড়বড় মুসলিম নেতাদের পূর্ব ঐতিহ্যের ইতিহাস ভুলে যাওয়ার কারণে আজ অপমাণিত পদদলিত মথিত হচ্ছে। কারণ যে জাতি নিজের ইতিহাসকে ভুলে যায়, সে জাতির বীরত্ব, কৃতিত্ব ও মান মর্যাদা অক্ষুণ্ন থাকে না- যা জাতিকে স্বাধীনতা ও বীর্যের মন্ত্রে উজ্জীবিত করবে। ফলে সে জাতির নাম ইতিহাসের পাতা থেকে মুছে যায় যেমন পারস্যের কবি শেখ সাদী বলেন,তোমরা অতীতের লোকের সুনামকে নষ্ট করো না, তাহলে তোমারও সুনাম বিদ্যমান থাকবে। মুসলিম জাতির নবী রাসুলগণের পর যাদের অবদান সবচেয়ে বেশী এবং যাদের পথ সবচেয়ে অনুসরণীয় তারা হলেন আল্লাহর রাসূল (সা)-এর সাহাবীগণ (রা)। আল্লাহ তা’আলা ঐ সমস্ত সাহাবীগণকে রাসুল (সা)-এর পরামর্শদাতা ও উপদেষ্টা নিধারণ করে তাঁদের সম্মান আরও বর্ধিত করেছেন। সামগ্রিক বিচারে সাহাবারা অন্যসব উম্মত অপেক্ষা উত্তম। তবে সাহাবাদের সবাই কিন্তু এক স্তরের নন। বরং কেউ কেউ মর্যাদায় অন্যদের চেয়ে উত্তম। তাদের নিজেদের মধ্যে মর্যাদার দিক থেকে শ্রেণি ও স্তর রয়েছে। সাহাবাদের মধ্যে সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ হচ্ছেন চার খলিফা। অর্থাৎ হজরত আবু বকর (রা.), হজরত উমর (রা.), হজরত উসমান (রা.) ও হজরত আলী (রা.)। এরপরের স্তরে আছেন দুনিয়ায় থেকে যারা বেহেশতের সুসংবাদ পেয়েছিলেন ওই তালিকার অবশিষ্টরা। আশারায়ে মুবাশ্বারা বা দুনিয়াতেই যে দশজন সাহাবি জান্নাতের সুসংবাদ পেয়েছেন তাদের নিয়েই আজকের এই অ্যাপ “জান্নাতি ১০ সাহাবীদের জীবনী”। The Muslims are being insulted today as they have forgotten the history of their religion, the founder of religion and the history of ancient Muslim leaders.
