About Bestil Bus

Nordjyllands Trafikselskab runs the project bus to order in collaboration with Aalborg and Hjørring Municipality. Here we are testing a new type of bus service at Nibe and Løkken-Vrå. The buses run without a fixed route or timetable and are ordered via the app. How Bus on demand works: • In the area by the Nibe, buses run on demand every weekday at 08.00-12.45 and at 15.30-18.00. • In Løkken-Vrå, buses run on demand every weekday at 07.35-13.10 and 15.45-17.35. • The buses serve the area shown on the map and run without a fixed timetable. • You book your trip in the book bus app. You can also book your trips on the computer or call 9934 1118. • Tours can be booked up to 1 hour before the desired boarding. • You enter from and to yourself - the app suggests the nearest collection and collection points. • You choose a collection time yourself - the app informs you of the expected collection and total travel time. • 1 hour before collection, you will receive an SMS with the final departure time from the stop. • You can follow the bus live in the app 30 minutes before the final departure time. • You can book a bus on demand for several people if you are picked up and dropped off at the same place. • You use the same ticket, travel card, commuter card, school card or youth card as you usually do when traveling by bus and train. You can also buy a cash ticket from the driver. • ATTENTION! Rejsekort as an app cannot yet be used for journeys by bus on demand.
