FreePics is a search engine and viewer for photos, clipart and artwork from three open sources: Pixabay, OpenClipart and the Met Museum. Every image carries an open license (Pixabay License, Creative Commons Zero or Met Open Access), so you can download and reuse it in presentations, graphic projects, blog posts or as a wallpaper. KEY FEATURES • Keyword search across all three sources at once or each one separately. • Search suggestions while typing (opt-in via Settings). • SafeSearch mode for Pixabay — results exclude adult content. • Met Museum tag search with optional strict AAT-term matching. • Favorites folder — selected images remain available even without an internet connection. • Export single images or full selections to any folder on the device, Google Drive, Dropbox and other destinations through Android's Storage Access Framework. • Share images via email, messaging apps and any other app that supports "Share". • Set an image as wallpaper with a single tap. • Use your own Pixabay API key for heavy use. • Manual or automatic image-cache cleanup. IMAGE SOURCES • Pixabay — photos, illustrations and vector graphics (Pixabay License). • OpenClipart — SVG clipart (Creative Commons Zero, public domain). • Met Museum — artworks from The Metropolitan Museum of Art (Creative Commons Zero, Open Access). PERMISSIONS • Internet access — required to connect to Pixabay, OpenClipart and the Met Museum. • Folder write — handled by Android's Storage Access Framework, so the app does not require broad device-storage access. ADS AND PRIVACY The app contains AdMob ads. In GDPR regions (EEA, UK, Switzerland) a consent dialog for personalised ads appears on first launch. You can re-open this dialog at any time in Settings → Privacy options. The EULA and privacy policy are available from the welcome screen and from Settings.
