TexWalls is a text wallpaper maker. Type a line, choose how it looks, and set it on your home screen, your lock screen, or both. If you would rather not think of a line, the app brings one. 180 quotes ship inside it, every one attributed, across 112 different names. On an empty canvas, tap the quote mark and one lands with its author already under it, and it stays yours to edit from there. A quote wallpaper is a tap here rather than a search. Not a gallery of stock images. Every wallpaper here starts as a line of text. What you can make - A custom text wallpaper out of anything you type: a name, a reminder, a lyric, a line you keep coming back to. - A quote wallpaper for your home or lock screen, from the 180 built in. - Color Only: a plain background, no words on it. Looks, fonts and color - 20 Looks. Each settles the background, the typeface, the color, the size and the spacing at once. - 29 fonts, plus your device's own default. - Bold, italics, underline, strikethrough and color apply to the words you select, or to the whole line when nothing is selected. - Size, alignment, letter spacing, line spacing and side margins set the canvas. - 6 gradient backgrounds, a grid of 150 swatches across 14 Material hue rows and a row of neutrals, and red, green and blue sliders for a color the grid does not hold. - A quiet warning when the text is hard to read on the background you picked. Both need a live wallpaper picker, and some current Android builds no longer include one. Where yours does not, those two rows are not shown and everything else works as usual. Saving, sharing and history - Save the image to your gallery, or send it to another app. - Your own screen size costs nothing. - History keeps the wallpapers you set, saved or shared, and a tap puts any of them back on the canvas to be changed or set again. TexWalls Pro One purchase, yours for good. Not a subscription. It removes the ads and adds six export sizes beyond your own screen: square 1:1, portrait 4:5, pin 2:3, story 9:16, tablet 3:4 and desktop 16:9. Without it the app is ad supported: a full screen ad on opening after a long gap, and one now and then after you set, save or share a wallpaper, or open History. There are no banners anywhere in the app. Everything else here works either way. No account, no sign-in, nothing to set up. The quotes, the fonts and the Looks all ship inside the app. Your lines and your history stay on the phone. Minimalist on purpose. No stickers, no frames, no clip art. One line of text, set well.
