And it is precisely through culture and education that being human feels integrated into a city, because it is contemplated in all its integrity. In this sense, we consider that journalistic practice should be the tool for interpellate society, deconstructing interpretations of reality based on prejudices and false common senses. At the same time, we advocate the construction of the information based on criteria of rigor, partiality and objectivity, understanding the latter not as neutrality but as the necessary referral to sources informative; that is, to the data involved in the interpretation of the facts. As a social actor, the journalist is not oblivious to reality nor does he enroll in it as mere observer. On the contrary, it assumes a leading role in social processes, advocating the construction of informed and critical citizenship.
