This checklist can be used to verify and document compliance with legal safety requirements for machinery. This applies to both new and used machines. The inspection report can be used as supporting documentation for your risk assessment. Furthermore, the employer can use this app to carry out the legally required inspection before initial use (Section 3, Paragraph 1 of the German Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health). We recommend using this app to include the inspection as a contractual component of the handover from the manufacturer to the operator. The presence of a CE marking on the machine does not exempt you from the obligation to conduct a risk assessment and the inspection before initial commissioning.
