The FreeStyle LibreLink app is approved for use with both FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors. You can scan your sensor with your smartphone to measure your glucose levels. If you have a FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensor, the FreeStyle LibreLink app allows you to view automatic glucose readings that are stored every minute and receive alerts when your glucose levels are low or high. Using the app and Reader with the same sensor Alerts will only work on either the FreeStyle Libre 2 Reader or your phone (not both).
